TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
The terms and conditions set out below apply to the provision to you by StudentsInNeed Limited of a StudentsInNeed Membership Card (SINCard). StudentsInNeed Limited (company number 6587082 whose registered office is at Nateby House, 38 Vesey Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B73 5PB) has been appointed by StudentsInNeed to manage the distribution and marketing of the SINCards on its behalf. If you have any questions in relation to the SINCard or the terms and conditions set out below please contact StudentsInNeed Limited.
The sale of the StudentsInNeed card is a financial transaction between you and StudentsInNeed Limited of which you are a member.
By completing and submitting the online form for a 'SIN Membership' you are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
- By completing the Application Form and purchasing the SIN Membership you are agreeing to comply with these terms and conditions and the rules and regulations of StudentsInNeed Limited
- In order to purchase the SIN Membership you must be an individual in further or higher education (a "Student"). StudentsInNeed reserves the right to request certain documentation and/or information from you prior to supplying you with the SIN Membership in order to verify your Student status.
- The one-off fee charged by StudentsInNeed Ltd for the SIN Membership (the "Fee") entitles you to a SINCard and membership that is valid between 31st August 2009 to 1st September 2010 (the "Validity Period").
- The SIN Membership allows you to benefit from discounts on certain products and services. The discounts available to you and the organisations providing such benefits are not fixed and may vary or be withdrawn at any time.
- The organisations which provide discounts to SIN Members are not within the control of StudentsInNeed Limited. StudentsInNeed Limited are not responsible for these organisations in any way and do not endorse any of the goods or services that they may provide.
- If you choose to deal with an organisation that provides SIN Members with discounted goods or services then it is your responsibility to ensure that you are comfortable with the terms upon which such organisations are offering such goods and services.
- The SINCard remains the property of StudentsInNeed Ltd at all times, however, you are entitled to maintain possession of the SINCard during the Validity Period, provided that you remain a member of StudentsInNeed Ltd during such time. You may not sell or otherwise transfer ownership of your SINCard (or purport to do so) to another person at any time. The SINCard is not a certified proof of age card.
- The fact that you are a SIN Member or SINCard holder does not confer upon you any rights in or to the name "StudentsInNeed" or "SIN" or any other intellectual property rights that may belong to StudentsInNeed Limited from time to time.
- The Fee is non-refundable.
- In the event that you wish to replace your SINCard due to a change in your personal details or otherwise then you must purchase a new SINCard at full price.
- If your SINCard is stolen you may be entitled to a replacement card free of charge if you can provide evidence of a police report. You must contact the customer services department of StudentsInNeed Limited on E:contact@studentsinneed.com.
- Lost cards will be replaced at the full fee of £4.95.
- In the event that you fail to comply with these terms and conditions or any rules and regulations StudentsInNeed Ltd shall be entitled to cancel your membership and request that you return your SINCard immediately. You shall not be entitled to a refund for the price of the SINCard in the event that your membership is cancelled.
YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
In order for you to receive regular updates regarding StudentsInNeed Ltd campaigns or information, you have been asked to indicate your consent to receive such communication by completing a series of consent opt-in boxes on the online SIN Membership form. We will not be sharing your information with any third parties, this information will be used only to keep you updated and help you get the most from your card.

In accordance with data protection legislation, any email correspondence you receive from StudentsInNeed Limited, will contain an unsubscribe feature allowing you to opt-out of receiving further emails.
